ou are really confused...
1.you thought about IB even you are intetrested in finance... Is it only because you want to go abroad????

2. friends are making you cofused
dont take suggestion from friends who are going thru a simillar situation, as yours......( career wise) Dont look for suggestions, look for reasons,,, ask them why they are suggesting it. is it because that particular profession suits your personality or because of SRC

3.Scope of IB:::::why you people ask questions without reading previous posts.. you can find answers there itself...

4. you are interested in finance... have you considered INTERNATIONAL FINANCE????

5. jobs and the salary package
No one gets any of the above two due to a particular course or diploma or college.... (at the max they can give a good start, but if one is not deserving he/she will come down to his/her level.............. no matter what). One can get it only by dedicated efforts towards what one is doing.. if you are pursuing a course and at the end yohave good knowledge, you will surely get a good job/salary.
if you have a experience of 2 years(on paper), but it doesn't seems that you have learnt as much as one can learnin two years, you won't get a good job/salary(HR can read you in seconds, after all they are paid for it).
so dont look for a course which can give you a good job/salary, look for a course which interests you and in which you can exceptionally good.

By the way, a discussion with you... would have helped me to post a better answer
