As I am willing to get in to enterprenuership ( right now I am doing MBA from ICFAI Distance leaning,) initially I would like to work for a firm which is in to export to get to know in & out of it....is that fine...please suggest
( I am yet to deside the area...my domain is automotive plastics component related
which has good oppertunity right now)

sorry for a late response.. time ki shortage hai
yes its better that you join a export firm first.. but join it in management or marketing profile... definately not in documentation profile.. you will automatically know the documentation part when you actually export for yourself..

try to find the nature of business and people in various countries.....

1.deciide what you want to export
2.will you outsource it or wanna have your own plant
3.find the countries where you can export
4. Find the details about the country... population annual consumption of your product in the target countries.
5.From where that country is getting the supplies and hows the local market/manufacturing industry of the product
6.find the price at which the target country is buying and compare it with your prices(and Hey!!!dont forget to include the transportation cost)
6.find a job in a export firm and try to get the countries which matches with your target countries.
7.work there for 8-9 months so that you can understand the psychology of people in that countries and also the legal import/export restrictions/formalities( if you are in management level such info will automatically come to your daily routine.)
8.Give one day in a week to think what you have done for your export-plans and plan out the next month(week will be a short period)
