you can work on Reliance...they are already in petroleum. then they purchased some ships tankers to send refined petrol by their own ships and thus enjoy a better margin..... few months back they applied for petrolpumps in Africa region.......... which has been already approved.......
thus they have covered full chain...
Natural Resourse--->extraction of petroleum--> refining -->transportation i.e. logistics----. pertol pums---> direct user
now you can see how much margin they have in Africa.. its just an example............. find more examples like this and analyse................. since this is INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS try to find some international case studies..... try to find any article on "M&As by Indian companies globally".. i have one but cant give it to you as its restricted copy.
