Marketing has good scope.. actually ... everything has good scope.. in case,you put your best.
good scope and not so-good scope comes in question when you go a little deeper.. I mean when you analyse scope of your growth in a particular field
scope of marketing of what???
scope of marketing through which channel?? is it tele marketing or what??
is it core marketing or you are into strategy making for marketing your product(that's at a higher management level)???
all this will answer your scope for growth in marketing... and not "the scope of marketing"
